1. Light pole height selection:
The height of the light pole is generally selected according to the width of the road, and it is best to choose the height of the light pole that is the same as the width of the road or slightly larger than the width of the road.
Generally, single-lane rural roads choose 3-4 meters of light poles;
Two-lane rural roads choose 5-7 meters of light poles;
Choose 8-12 meters of light poles for four-lane or main traffic roads;
Courtyard or other scene lighting is selected according to the lighting range.
2. LED lamp head wattage selection:
The wattage of the street light should be determined according to the purpose of the street light, the height of the light pole, and the lumen value of the LED street light.
Generally, on roads and scenes with fewer pedestrians, you can choose LED lamp heads with a slightly lower wattage. On roads and scenes with more pedestrians, you can choose LED lamp heads with a slightly higher wattage.
It is recommended to choose 15-20 watt LED lamp head for 3-4 meters light pole;
It is recommended to choose 30-50 watt LED lamp head for 5-7 meters light pole;
It is recommended to choose 50-100 watt LED lamp head for 8-12 meters light pole;
According to the actual situation, you can choose dual LED lamp head street lights.
3. Flange diagonal size and ground cage diagonal size selection:
First of all, the diagonal dimension of the flange and the diagonal dimension of the ground cage must be the same for matching installation.
In general, the higher the height of the solar street light pole, the larger the diagonal dimension of the flange and the ground cage, and the higher the height of the ground cage.
For 3-4m light poles, choose flange diagonal size and floor cage diagonal size of 240mm;
5-7m light pole choose flange diagonal size and floor cage diagonal size 260mm;
For 8-12m light poles, choose flange diagonal size and floor cage diagonal size of 280mm.
4. Light pole thickness selection:
The thicker the light pole, the stronger the load-bearing capacity and wind resistance.
The thickness of 3-4 meters light pole is generally 1.5-2.5mm;
The thickness of the 5-7m light pole is generally 2.5-2.75mm;
The thickness of the 8-12m light pole is generally 2.75-3.5mm.
2. Solar street light installation spacing and location:
According to the construction drawings and the geological survey of the site, where there is no sunshade on the top of the street lamp, the installation position of the street lamp should be determined based on the distance of 20-50 meters between the street lamps. Otherwise, the installation position of the street lamp should be adjusted appropriately.
Generally, the width of the road is about 3-4 meters, the light pole is 3-4 meters, and the LED lamp head is 15-20 watts. The installation distance should be 20-25 meters;
Generally, the width of the road is about 5-7 meters, the light pole is 5-7 meters, and the LED lamp head is 30-50 watts. The installation distance should be 30-40 meters;
Generally, the width of the road is about 8-12 meters, the light pole is 8-12 meters, and the LED lamp head is 50-120 watts. The installation distance should be 30-50 meters.
3. The orientation of the solar panel
Solar panels should be oriented in the direction that faces the sun and gets the most sunlight.
Note: The direction of the solar panel can be adjusted appropriately according to the occlusion of buildings or trees, generally within 20 degrees to the west or east (the effect of westward is better than that of eastward).
